Rainy Day in Georgia…Tybee Island to be exact….

7 foot seas from our deck

So what do you get when you pack your schedule with beach appointments and have clients traveling in from all over for the sessions?  You got it…rain, wind and lightening…yuk!  Today there are 7 to 10 foot seas with 20 to 30 knots winds.  I tell our clients all the time that beach sessions are outdoor adventure sessions.  Part of the mystique of shooting the beach is that no two beach sessions are ever the same.  However, there is a difference in adventure and extreme!  (Notice the white caps in the ocean) Those of you we did photograph - you are going to be amazed!  We have some great images.  For those of you that we are rescheduling - we will work hard to get you back in in the next few weeks.  We are scheduling out five weeks now - but you will have the top priority of bookings.  There are some advantages to owning a bungalow at Tybee - it is there when we need it.  Thanks for your patience.  For those of you who have not booked beach portraits - we do have only a few dates available this summer before school starts back.DSCN1149

Not to worry - Edie Grace did get some swim time in and we did some much needed back to school shopping in.  We also updated our Savannah Mall Gallery - which I will share more with in another post.

Hope all of you have a great 4th of July! DSCN1155 DSCN1157 DSCN1156

Love your blog. Great photographs. I know what you are talking about with Chick-fil-a. I grew up in and on Chick-fil-a. My father was the manager of the origional Dwarf Houst from 1949-1952. He was the firs person to sell Chick-fil-a outside of the Dwarf House. My family ran resturants that sold it untill 1995. My dogs were even raised on the stuff.
I think your photographs are beautiful and keep blokking.

Thank you Scott. It is amazing what a small world we live in. Chic-fil-a is a way of life. Thank you also on your compliments on my blog. It is a great way to destress after a long day, reflecting on how amazing life truly is. It is also proving to be a great way to become inspired as I begin my day. Hope to see more of you and your work soon.
