Lori named "Champion of Change"
Tonight the Savannah ABC affiliate WJCL TV named Lori a “Champion of Change.” Lori was nominated and selected because of her cancer advocacy. Lori has become internationally recognized for her efforts to raise awareness for cervical cancer and the HPV vaccine. In fact if you Google Lori I think even you would be stunned at how sought after she is as a spokesperson for cervical cancer.
Casey Jones the anchor for the ABC affiliate did a masterful job in telling Lori’s powerful story. There is so much more to be accomplished. Thank you for your continued interest and support of Lori and this wonderful cause.

She has a MAJOR interview coming out very soon with a HUGE media outlet. She has already taped the interview and we are waiting on the Executive Producer to let us know when the interview will be used. Stay tuned!
Every day the when the phone rings - we continued to be stunned at how God is using Lori in such incredible ways. Your emails, call, letters and contributions to Lori’s fight have become the inspiration that Lori continues to draw strength from.

Happy Birthday Blog! When I launched this blog last year I had no idea how popular it would become. Thanks to you in just one short year my blog has become one of the most widely read photography blogs in the world! Is the internet amazing or what? We have tried to pull up the story but are not yet successful. Regardless, we know that Lori is our Champion for Change and are glad that so many others will be allowed to hear her story with this coverage. Congratulations to all three of you! Her energy and motivation comes from her love for her family.

Lori and DeWayne…what a heartfelt and awesome story of your journey of what has taken place in your family. It is truly awesome that God has purposed your lives to glorify Him through your testimony. We all have a purpose to fulfill and when we go through some things and are delivered from it, it is not about us but how it may impact someone else’s life. Thank you for sharing your story of what God has done in your lives. Our best of love and prayers to you, DeWayne and Edie. You truly are a “Champion of Change.”

Congratulations on recognition well deserved. I appreciate
the stand that you take and the difference you are making
in the lives of others. Your advocacy for cancer research
and the HPV vaccine is truly making a difference in our
community and across the state. Thank you for all you do
for the American Cancer Society. It is wonderful to have others
that share the same passion for a job that is so important, fighting
cancer. As a cancer survivor yourself, you know first hand that
our job is not finished until we find a cure. Your passion, your
energy, your courage is an inspiration to all. Thank you again for
what you do and know “Because of you, Lives are saved, Lives
are Changed.”

Lori,
I understand how you are chosen the Champion of Change. Cancer, as you say, has given you a renewed passion; a fresh outlook on what is truly important in this life: God, family, others. I was not only proud to hear of your recognition, but also that every award you receive seems to be another step pointing directly to our Heavenly Father and honoring Him. Thank you for all you do for cancer awareness, but for also never forgetting to give Him the praise and honor. May Christ continue to bless and keep you and your family close to His heart, in His will, and showered with His blessings.
