Tennessee Professional Photographers
The primary reason for the fun trip to Nashville was to speak to the Tennessee Professional Photographers Association’s meeting at Montgomery Bell State Resort Park. The venue was absolutely breathtaking. It is definitely a place we want to go back to when we have more time. My two hour speech focused on the changes in the photography industry. I discussed current trends in the marketplace and challenges brought on by a huge surge of hobbyist photographers. This shift in the industry has been caused by digital cameras and the perception that photography is easier now. I shared with them lots of wonderful images created for each of you. I also gave them some tools to evaluate where they are currently and how to chart a course to get them where they want to be.
DeWayne shared our journey as partners in life and business. He also shared with them our journey through cancer. Each of them received a cancer poster along with a challenge to place them in the most popular OB/GYN office in each of their communities.
Edie Grace was, of course, the featured speaker and shared some powerful comments to the group.
My next speaking gig will be in Boston soon. More on that later.
