EGGstravaganza
![]()
Again the Deal’s have outdone themselves with their Easter EGGstravaganza. Shirlee is the grandmother to Leah and if you know her then you know she and her husband Edgar NEVER half do anything. Last year we were blown away - but this year was even more incredible than you can imagine. Now I know that this is probably what Easter events are like at your home every year. But for us, it is a very special treat. The catered lunch included a spread that would make even the pickiest eater think she was in heaven. Of course it was served under tents with tables complete with pastel linens and chair covers, silver and fresh cut flower arrangements. Then there were games including inflatables. Yes, inflatables: a giant slide, a moon walk, and a basketball throw. There were other game stations including target shooting with electronic shooting systems and paint ball guns. A ring toss, ball toss and more. The traditional egg hunt topped off the days fun - with hundreds of eggs creatively hidden - each with special prizes. Did I mention PRIZES? Well everything you did you received a ticket for. These tickets become currency to “purchase” items from the prize tent.
I am not sure if they were “carnies” in another life or just always wanted to own their own carnival. Regardless, those of us who attended this year’s event will be talking about it for a LONG time. We were honored to be included. Edie Grace had a blast as did we! I just wonder how they will top this next year?![]()
