Lisa Oliver is GOOD NEWS
Several months ago DeWayne was asked to serve on the “Good News” council for The Coastal Source website and TV stations including Fox and WJCL of Savannah. One of the FIRST Good News ideas was the story of our friend Lisa Oliver. Lisa’s story is a very powerful one of a mother who lost a 10 year old son in a car accident and then a few years later her husband in another car accident. From these horrific experiences she has turned it into something incredible. She has self published a book entitled “Fly With me on the Wings of Hope”. It is a tremendous book and inspiring story. I have featured Lisa on our blog several times and she was one of the finalist in the your portrait, your story promotion we did a few years ago. She continues to inspire me and so many others. This is a wonderful tribute to an incredible woman – who instead of giving up when tragedy struck TWICE – she instead chose to seek a way to make a difference.
