We spent the afternoon Saturday with the coolest group of students from Bulloch Academy. They met for photography at one of their classmates home and boarded a super cool party bus for a night of fun. Most of these students I have photographed since birth. It is so amazing, to watch them grow into incredibly handsome men and beautiful ladies.
We had so much fun photographing them and enjoying time with them and their parents as they prepared to leave for a night they will never forget.
These girls are so beautiful and wonderful to photograph. I traveled recently to their home in Anderson, South Carolina to spend a day with them. The results are incredible. This is a annual tradition for this family that I look forward to each year. Enjoy a few of my favorites.
The dad is quite a celebrity. You may have seen him on many commercials through out the years. We know him as Bubba – you know him as "Bubba San".
His commercials are creative and very successful. They have a beautiful family and home. This week we updated their family portrait while we were creating their son’s five year portrait. We shot on location at their home. You will see those soon. But here is a sneak peak into "Bubba San’s Crib". This is proof that all the celebrities decorate their homes with a Lori Grice. In fact a new client told me that a measure of success was based on how MANY Lori Grices you have hanging on your walls. I can not think of a better measurement of success. More importantly there is no investment in art more valuable than a Lori Grice created exclusively for you of your family!
There is no art gallery that my work has hung in that thrills me more than to see my work hanging in your home. This weekend I had the opportunity to finally visit this client’s home in Jesup. This house is so perfect. Her interior designer has done a great job with it. Of course, when you have priceless artwork like this to work with – who couldn’t do an amazing job decorating? I know you like to see other homes to get ideas for yours.
We are only a couple of years into documenting him. Maybe we will do an album or two along the way - when we finish with the walls.
Thank you, “P family”, for allowing me to be your family historian! You guys mean the world to me!
